Nicholas Cinquina

Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Saturday, November 17, 2018; age 90 years. Nicholas will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his remaining sibling, Anthony Cinquina (Nita) of Arizona. Dear son of the late Louis and late Olivia Cinquina. He was predeceased by brothers Albert, Paul, Ulric “Curly”, Johnny, Dominic and Santini and by sisters Mary, Anna, Regetta, and Rose. Nicholas was an avid reader with a keen mind who kept abreast of events both in the secular world and in the Church. He loved to travel and had a heart for the poor which took him to places such as Northern Ontario, France and Africa where he was an educator. He was a generous supporter of the Missionary Society of St. Damien in Brazil and served on the Board of Directors for the past forty years. Mass of the Resurrection, Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated at St. Columban’s Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 22, 2018.
