Sorry to hear of Paul's passing... gone too soon. To Daniel, Tawnya and Linda, our most sincere condolences. I had the chance to be his CO in Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years. I could always trust that when he did things, they were always done right and efficiently. Many good memories. Rest in peace Paul...

Hi Linda and Family,

We were so sad to hear about Paul. Great guy with a good sense of humour. Always enjoyed chatting with him at SYC. When our boat sank, he was the first one to offer that we could sail with him. Such a nice offer, but that was the kind of person he was. He will certainly missed by so many of us. Sending our thoughts and prayers to all of you.

So sorry to learn of Paul's passing. The sea cadet years were very exciting and Ernie (his C.O) always thought a lot of Paul, he was a friend and fine person. These are fond memories. My sincere sympathy, rest in peace, may you meet up in heaven!

It’s hard to believe someone with so much life could be gone. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to know such a wonderful person. Paul was always eager to help those in need, and even if it wasn’t needed, he was always there for you. Any opportunity to make someone smile or laugh, he took it. His jokes were often corny (and he knew it), but he never held back for the sake of a laugh. His voice often echos in my head, either with “I can’t handle the pressure” during serene moments, or encouraging words in not so serene moments. Though I didn’t know Paul very long (relatively speaking), it didn’t take long to become attached… I’m really going to miss him.
