Obituary
RICHARDSON, Peggy Sue (Boisvenue) of Cornwall – At the Ottawa Heart Institute on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Our sweet Peggy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends, at the early age of 52 years.
Beloved wife of Donald Richardson. Survived by her sisters Deborah Deschamps (Ronald), Judy Boisvenue (Alex Smith), Cathy Darling (Mike), Connie Lenneau (Brian) and Linda Boisvenue-Allaire (Dan). Peggy Sue will be sadly missed by her aunt Mary Ellen Scott, who was like a second mother to her and by her many nieces and nephews. Loved daughter of the late René and Anne Boisvenue.
Peggy will forever be remembered as a woman with a will, strength and perseverance like no other. Never giving up was her motto in life. Despite her health challenges, Peggy always displayed such an amazing sense of humour and would take on anything. Her love of life shined through in everything she did. Her compassion for her pets, her love and devotion to her husband, her joy in collecting everything under the sun, and her flair for teasing, made her the Peggy that we all loved so much. She will be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank the amazing Heart Surgeon Dr. Maharaj and his colleagues, also including the entire staff of the Intensive Care Unit of the Heart Institute, for their compassionate support and care of Peggy.
A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Sunday November 9, 2014 starting at 12 noon. Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). Service will be held at 2 PM by Scott Sayers in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Peggy requested any colour but black for your attendance, in her honour.
Memorial Donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family. Messages of Condolence may be left at http://www.lahaiesullivan.ca/
