Dear Elizabeth, David and family, our prayers and thoughts are with you all at a time when it is needed most. Ranald was a good friend and hard worker and he will surely be missed from us all. He had a good sense of humour and could tell some good jokes, From the custodians at Holy Trinity High School in Cornwall, Robert St. Martin, Fern St. Denis, Reg Leroux, and Doug Amelotte and families.

There are no words to express how sad we were to hear of the lost of Ranald. He will be forever remembered by the staff and students at Immaculate Conception Catholic School. We so enjoyed seeing him when he came in to help at our school. His smile was contagious!  One day there was a big storm and Ranald cleaned off all of the cars in the parking lot for us!. He was our Angel that day! He was a hard working man and one that will truly be missed by all.  God Bless you Elizabeth and David with strength and courage during this difficult time. Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with you. May Ranald rest in peace. Ranald will be forever in our hearts!

My thoughts and sympathies are with your family.  Ranald was a very kind neighbour; the whole community of St. Andrew's will miss him.

The few of us remaining active members that served with Ranald, shared some memories of the "good old" fire department days. We remember Ranald fondly as a determined man when he had an axe or crowbar in hand.  There was no wall that could not be breached, nor door that could not be pried open. He would do anything for his fellow fire fighters. Our condolences to Elizabeth, David, and family.
