DESJARDINS, Reynald – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Sunday February 2, 2014. He was 83. He leaves his loving wife of 57 years, Raymonde (Cadieux) Desjardins. Dear father of Nicole Labrosse (Roger), Elaine Greig, Monique Ashby, Claude Desjardins (Lynn), late Gilles and late Michel Desjardins. Sadly missed by 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Lynn, Andre and Michel. Reynald was one of 8 children. Son of the late Eugene and Bella Blais and adopted son of the late Joe Desjardins. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Thursday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Friday from 9:30 – 10:30am. Funeral Mass Friday February 7, 2014 St. Columban’s Catholic Church at 11am followed by cremation. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery, at a later date.
