BEARS Robert- passed away with his family by his side at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Tuesday February 8, 2022. Robert Louis Bears of Cornwall, proud member of LIUNA LOCAL 527 Labourers Union; age 61 years. Loving husband of 32 years, to Shannon Sturgess. Cherished father of Brian Bears (Lindsay) of Ottawa, Brittany Bears of Gatineau and Courtney Bears of Cornwall. Loving grandfather of Bostyn Bears. Dear son of Freda White of Cornwall, P.E.I.. Predeceased by his father Wendall Bears. Dear brother of Ronald Bears (Karen) of Halifax, NS, and Jean Cole (Dale) of Richmond, ON. Robert will be sadly missed by his niece and nephew, Nadine (Dean Guss) and Nigel and many close friends. He proudly worked the last few years of his life for Kiewit, working on stage 2 of the LRT rail in Ottawa, where he will be greatly missed by all his co-workers. Cremation.
