FURNISS, Robert David – Entered into eternal life on Friday December 11, 2015 in his 72nd year at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Loving husband for 38 years to Diane (Myers) Furniss. Dear father of Chad (Christine), Ryan (Andrea), D’Arcy (Mallory), Roberta (Ted) and Amanda (Jason). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Greyson, Malcolm, Tyler, Connor, Charity, Zachary, Courtney and Logan. Cherished brother of Richard (Pat), Betty, Maggie (Rene), Sue (Ken) and Michael (Donna). Predeceased by his parents, Garnet and Marie (Prud’Homme) Furniss and one brother Ron (Pam), and 2 sisters, Joan and Francis. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Saturday December 19, 2015 from 9 am until Funeral Liturgy in the chapel of the funeral home at 11am. Rite of Committal to follow at St. Anthony’s Parish Cemetery, Apple Hill. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion , Branch 297 would be appreciated by the family.
