Loving father of Amber Carrick (Derrick) of Cornwall. Will be sadly missed by his sister Rosemary “Rosie” Gaines (John Torunski). Grandfather of Kohl, Adleigh, Ivy and Evelyn. Uncle to Brent (Christine), Kelly (Bill), Corey (Kelly), Erin (Wayne), Kevin (Kayleigh). Great Uncle Michelle, Lena, Holly, Glenn, Sawyer, Jordan, KayCee and Ryan.
Robert is predeceased by his parents David. J Hughie Duncan McDonald and Annie McDonald (O’Shea), his brother Hugh McDonald, sister Maureen McDonald and brother-in-law Glen Gaines.
Bobby will be sadly missed by many longtime friends, from his time at the Paper Mill, and all the local bars he frequented.
The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, 20 Seventh St West (613-932-8482) on Wednesday April 16, 2025 from 10 am until time of Funeral. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 1 pm. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Cornwall Hospice.
