It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Ronald “Ron” Dumond at Cornwall Community Hospital with his niece Shelley Ann and great niece Anna Marie by his side on Sunday August 10, 2025, at the age of 82 years.
Dear son of the late Nelson Dumond and the late Alma Ladouceur. Former life partner of Allan Keane and cared for by Shelley Ann Campeau and Anna Marie Campeau.
He will be dearly missed by his close friend Ashley Munro.
Ron is predeceased by his brothers Vernon Dumond (late Bernice), Gerald Dumond and Darryl Dumond (late Sadie); as well as his sisters Pauline McLeod (late Bert), Rona Chene (late Harvey), Patricia Deschamps (late Ernie), Shirley Davis (William Davis and the late John Meyer ), and Iris Delage (late Adrien).
Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH 20 SEVENTH STREET WEST, CORNWALL on Saturday August 16, 2025, between the hour of 9:00AM and 11:00AM. Prior to a Funeral Service that will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:00AM
Interment to follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery.
