WOODS, Roy Joseph – At his residence on Wednesday November 22, 2017. He was 82. Beloved husbnd of the late Mary (Martin) Woods. Dear father of Betty, May (Jeff), Marie, Gordon (Vicky), Valerie, Samantha (Gerry), Mitch, Mervyn (Annette) and Rolland (Tracy). Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Survived by one brother Wayne and 2 sisters, Jeannette (late John) and Joan (late Rene). Also survived by his dear companion and caregiver, Della Lauber and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Norman and Laura (Lauzon) Woods one brother Richard (Catherine) and one sister, Dora (late Gerry). Friends and family will be received at the M. Joh n Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Sunday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Monday from 1pm – 1:45pm. Funeral Monday, November 27, 2017 for service in the chapel of the funeral home at 2pm followed by cremation. Committal at The Old Stone Church Cemetery, South Lancaster, Ontatio at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Hospice Cornwall-Carefor would be appreciated by the family.
