My warmest thoughts are sent to you Eric and Krista and all the family of Sam. Sam and I met the first day he walked into the doors of CHEO and I was lucky enough to still have him in my life. Sam was a very gentle soul. I will miss our long talks and his great laugh. He will be missed by many.

Love ya Sam my man!

To Sam's family:

I played a lot of hockey with Sammy. He busted his butt on the ice, but always with a smile on his face. He was just a fun guy to be around . These were qualities that I'm certain made him a natural at CHEO.
My sincere condolences to all of you.

My deepest condolences to Sam’s entire family. We were in a lot of the same classes in high school, Sam made a lot of us laugh on a daily basis. We sure had lots of fun together. Rest In Peace my friend.

My deepest condolences to you, his family in the loss of Sam. It was always a good CHEO shift when he was on. He did have special success with the ortho patients, he seemed to have a gift, but to everyone he gave his all and stood up for what was right and fair. A hard worker, with a great sense of humour , Sam was always a pleasure to work with . I feel fortunate to have known and worked with him , laughed and learned with him . He will be missed by so many , a great loss. My sympathies to you all.

So sad to hear of Sam's death. He was a neighbour, a client and a trusted friend. Someone I could discuss anything with and feel better, for having done so. You were loved Sam, by so many. May you be at peace now and until we meet again, I'll miss you.
