This woman was the one who started my new life - she demanded a brother...and brother did she get one! 4 1/2 years of age saw me move from Milers children's home to that of my new adoptive family. I was loved/educated/chastised - you name it, I earned them all - easily. As I write this, I have finally cried for the loss of my beloved sister. No words can convey how I feel. I can only say that she will be in my heart for the rest of my life. I would have taken a bullet for her - gladly. 'Til we meet again sister of my heart, rest in God's hands.

p.s. Thanks to all those who uploaded photos as they bring back fresh so many happy loving memories -Bless you all.

My thoughts are with you at this sad time. Sandra was a good friend and loyal to all those she loved. She was especially proud of her two sons and the fine caring men they became. Keep her memory close and the good times you enjoyed together. Love never dies.

Our thoughts are with you Troy, Trevor and family as we say good-bye to your Mom. Sandra was such a dear friend to my Mom, Annie and they shared many laughs over the years as well as the challenges of raising a bunch of kids together. Remembering when we were kids and she would pile a bunch of us into her yellow Bug with the roof down for fun trips to the beach. Visits and dinners together after we grew up were always enjoyed and filled with laughter. Sandra’s kind heart, love of her family (and cats) and smiling eyes will always be in our hearts.
With love, Katie and Noel
