BROCKETT, Shirley Gladys. Peacefully at her home on April 24, 2017 at the age of 77. The former Shirley Gladys Gates. Beloved wife of the late Ronald (Mousey) George Brockett Senior. Loving mother of Clayton (Heather), Brenda (Kris), Ronald Junior (Lynn), Thomas (Betty), Kim (Peter), Candy (Jeff) and Anthony (Karen). Survived by 11 grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Eartley Gates and Vesta (Gladys Froats). Survived by sisters Kathleen (Mrs. Maurice Filion (deceased)), Sherwin (Mrs. Francis Marsolais) and Gail (Mrs. Gerald Moise). Predeceased by her daughter, Joyce Ann Nuttall (Kevin), two brothers, Harry and Clayton Gates and two sisters, Eileen (Mrs. Arlen Alguire) and Alda May Blue-Ferguson. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613.932.8482) from 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, May 1, 2017 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 3 p.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2017 and from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral on Monday. Rev. Lois Gaudet officiating.
