

Steven Curotte, born on August 27, 1970, in Cornwall, Ontario, passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 55. A resident of Cornwall, Steven was known for his adventurous spirit, humour, and kind-hearted nature. He was a cherished individual, admired for his hard-working demeanor and the joy he brought to those around him.
Steven was the founder and operator of Scrap Daddy Auto Mechanic, where he dedicated his skills and passion for his work. His career was marked by his commitment to excellence and his ability to make those around him smile with his very humorous personality.
In his personal life, Steven was previously married to Christeena Holland (Curotte) and was the proud father of Breanna Holland (Curotte) and Aimee Holland (Curotte). He was a cherished brother to John Jr. Curotte, Carolyn Hampsey (Chris), and Debbie Curotte, all residing in Cornwall. As a proud uncle, he adored his nieces and nephews: Allison, Marshall, Joël, Anick, Torrie, Carson, and Cole. He was the dear son of the late Jean-Louis Curotte and the late Audrey Jean (Cummings) Curotte.
An avid outdoorsman, Steven found great joy in hunting and fishing with family and friends. His legacy is one of warmth, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. He will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home West branch (613-932-8482). A Celebration of Life gathering will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday February 28, 2026 at the R.C.A.F wing.
