CURRIE, Waltraut “Val” – passed away peacefully on Monday June 23, 2025 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Currie. Loving mother of Monica Currie-Penning (Gerald) and Steven Currie (Heidi). Cherished grandmother of Daniella Currie-Schwenzner (Gunter), Ashley Habjan (Nicholas) and Joshua Thomas (Amanda). Treasured great-grandmother of Samantha, Isabella, Oliver, Ethan, Lucas, Evelyn, Jade and Nelly. Survived by her siblings Else Mecke (late Bernd) and Joern Eberspaecher. Predeceased by her parents Eugen and Else Eberspaecher (née Roediger). Funeral arrangements entrusted to M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt St., Cornwall, ON.
