WOOD, William (Bill) D. - It is with great sadness that the family of William (Bill) D. Wood announces his sudden passing on Friday December 16, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Bill will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Paula of 46 years, his daughter Alicia (Roger) Cruddas and his granddaughter Deanne. Bill will also be forever remembered and missed by his brother John (Donna), sister Linda, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends. Bill was predeceased by his dad Wallace, mom Mildred and sister Shirley (Ken) Biggers. A special thank you to neighbours and friends for your kind support and generosity. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations in memory of Bill can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 36 Second Street East Cornwall ON.
