William Nick Chuback

CHUBACK, William Nick – It is with deep, and heavy sadness that we announce the death of William Nick Chuback, who passed on August 1st, 2014 at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Willie was born in Foam Lake Saskatchewan, in December 1940, and lived in Winnipeg, Montreal and Cornwall. He spent his most recent years growing his prize winning potatoes, renovating a school into handicap apartments and helping people with their snow removal. As people grew to know him, he always brought them to smile and laughter. Willie loved life, traveling to different countries or spending quality time with friends and family, gardening, cooking and enjoying his white wine. Beloved husband of Alice; Proud father of, Lawrence (Judy), Susan (Bruno) and Jason (Heidi). Papa cherished his Grandchildren, Christopher, Sarah, Reese, Grady and Will be missed by brothers, Mervin(Nancy), Tony (Donna), and his sister, Joan (Brian). Willie will be sadly missed by all his Friends and Family. Thank You for Sharing your Life with us. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. Funeral and burial will be held in Winnipeg.
