Yvette Marie Vernier

VERNIER, YVETTE – with family by her side, Yvette passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2025 at Hospice Cornwall at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Roger Vernier. Loving mother of Michel Vernier (late Denise Depatie), Lilianne Vernier (Normand Geneau), Daniel Vernier (Grace), Diane Sabourin (Mark Jarvo) and Gabriel Vernier. Cherished grandmother of eleven. She will be treasured by all her great-grandchildren. Survived by two sisters, Juliette Payette (late Gerard) and Annette Robinson (Alex) and by one sister-in-law Lucienne Boileau. Predeceased by her parents Regis and Amanda (née St. Louis) Boileau, Rene Boileau (late Adrienne), Lionel Boileau (late Veronica), Hormidas Boileau, Albert Boileau (late Florette), Therese Boileau and Laurette Janoska. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West, Cornwall, ON (613-932-8482) on Wednesday October 1, 2025 from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Félix de Valois Church on Thursday October 2, 2025 at 10 am. An interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
