Beloved wife of the late Gerard Valade.
Loving mother of Irene Pilon (late Ronald), Richard Valade (Linda), Bernard Valade (Stephani), Gisele Jodoin, Lise LeVasseur (Mike) and Rosanne Zoppas (Mark). Treasured grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 13.
Predeceased by her parents Raoul and Bernadette (née Poirier) Thauvette, her brother Leo Thauvette (late Leila) and her sisters Noella Carriere (late Marcel), Marie-Rose Faubert (late Romeo) and Florence Harkin (late Dan).
The family would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful palliative team at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre for their dedicated care and compassion.
The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, 20 SEVENTH ST WEST (613-932-8482) on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the St. Joseph’s Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
