I have only fond memories. I always enjoyed his spirit for life.

Very sorry for your loss.  
To bad we haven't stayed in touch, but that's just how things are.  I remember living with you guys in the summer of 1977.  What a culture shock for a farm boy from PA.  We certainly had some fun, and I learned a lot about the world being in So Cal.  Your mom & dad were the most generous & helpful folks around.  I still think about your mom's bean soup.  I have been trying to recreate it ever since, but never get it as good.    Hope that you are all well, and we send our sincere condolences.
