Alice Lorraine Famularo

Alice Lorraine Famularo passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at the age of 96. She was born on May 13, 1923 in Long Beach, California to Samuel Martin and Lorraine Grace (South) Young. Alice grew up in Huntington Beach, California. She was a faithful servant of God who loved going to church where she played the piano and organ. She loved to travel, enjoyed playing games with her sisters and friends and unselfishly opened her home to those who needed a place to live. Alice worked at the San Juan Water Co & later it became the Capistrano Water Company. She worked there for many years. Also, she was a business owner and worked until the age of 79.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel & Lorraine Young, her husband, Nofie Famularo, her sisters, Nina Katherine (Kay) Marcom and Elizabeth (Betty) Simonson. Alice is survived by her daughters, Anita Montgomery, Christine Orsburn & husband, Lyndell, her foster sons, Ray Dunbar & wife, Bonnie, Roy Dunbar & wife, Kimberly, her grandchildren, Phil Montgomery, Trina Montgomery, Matthew Berg & wife Jennifer, Mark Orsburn & wife, Debby, Dan Orsburn & wife, Angelica, Kim (Orsburn) Majors and Donna (Orsburn) Nash & husband Charles, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family members and many friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday January 18th at the Presbyterian Church of the Master, 26051 Marguerite Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army Southern California would be greatly appreciated.
