Alisa was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished daughter, sister, and family member. She is survived by her husband, Tony Amezcua, whose love and support were central to her life, and their two children, Emma (4) and Jameson (2), who were the greatest joys of her life. Alisa was a nurturing and devoted mother, always making time for family activities and creating cherished memories with her children.
She is also survived by her loving parents, Ray and Patricia Huerta, who provided unwavering support and guidance throughout her life. Alisa shared a close bond with her parents, often seeking their wisdom and cherishing their moments together. Her siblings Alex, Raymond and Michael as well as her Niece; Penelope, Nephews; Alex and Austin as well as a great amount of extended family members will also hold her memory close to their hearts, as Alisa's warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
Family was the center of Alisa's world; her children were the most important part of her life. She took great pride in being a mother and devoted herself to nurturing their growth and happiness. Our home was filled with laughter, love, and shared moments that will forever be cherished. Together, we shared a passion for exploration. Whether we were venturing to far-off places or simply enjoying the serenity of sitting by the river, every moment spent with her felt like an adventure. Alisa had a unique way of finding wonder in the simplest experiences, and it was in those moments that our love deepened. She inspired me to embrace life fully, and I will forever treasure the journeys we took together, both near and far.
A beloved soul, Alisa touched many lives during her 13 years as a Respiratory Therapist at Desert Regional Medical Center. Her compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to her patients earned her praise from both coworkers and those she cared for. Her dedication to her work went beyond just treating patients; she provided comfort and reassurance during some of their most challenging moments. Alisa embodied the sentiment expressed by Ralph Waldo Emerson: “To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; that is to have succeeded.” Her presence brought hope and positivity to her workplace, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of working alongside her.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the gentle strength she exhibited throughout her life. Her presence brought comfort, and her love touched everyone who knew her.
Though her time here was far too short, Alisa's love remains—in her children's smiles, the memories she created, and the countless lives she touched with grace.
