Hi :) I’m one of Alyssa’s friends from the Rec center at CSULB. I’m in Mexico City right now and had to pilgrimage to the Frida Kahlo house and museum in her honor. I took a picture in one of Alyssa’s classic poses, and I wish so badly she could have been in the picture with me.
Alyssa was such a light to the people in her life, she consistently gave me so much laughter and love. She had such endlessly positive energy, if she was there I knew it would be good time and I got so many good dance moves from her. She was so nurturing and was beautiful in mind, body, and spirit. I’m truly blessed to have been graced by her friendship, she had a huge impact on me and who I am today. She truly touched my life.
My heart goes out to your family, I know how much love she had for each of you.

I'm so terribly heartbroken to have come across this obituary. It's bittersweet though because I believe you're with our Lord now, being the angel that you are. Thank you for being so supportive and encouraging to me during my hard times. You are such a sweet soul who was such a great inspiration to me, even though we only knew each other online. I am truly blessed to have known you and interacted with you. Rest well, sis ❤️

Alyssa! I love you. Even though we never met, your energy was such a light and you have no idea how much you influenced the people around you to always be optimistic and loving. Wow I just found out, I am heart broken. I know that wherever you are your spirit is here guiding your loved ones and shining your light. Truly truly I love you Alyssa. Your light will live on forever! Those who had the pleasure of knowing you are so blissed and even though we connected over the internet I will always feel your love, compassion and positive innergy within! That’s how magnetic your spirit is!

Hey Jeff,
So very sorry to hear of Alyssa's passing. My thoughts are with you all.

A beautiful soul! For such a short time you were here and it was a blessing to to have you in our lives. May the Lord comfort your family in their time of loss. Our hearts and prayers are with you. Debra McMichael.

Alyssa. Oh man. Where do you even start? The most beautiful human with the most tender soul. She was full of life and her smile. Man her smile and laugh I’ll never forget. From growing up together to Prom, Confirmation, sleepovers. I can’t wait to see you again. Love you forever.

Alyssa was a welcoming, warming soul. She was kind, generous, and seemed to always be full of life and energy. Her presence on social media alone had such a huge impact on the mindsets of others. She inspired me to be better, and I hope she is at peace now wherever she is. She will truly be missed, earth-side.

I wish her family and loved ones all the best during this difficult time. Much love.

Mija Alyssa
