Anne was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she met her husband Alan D. Simon. They moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where they raised their family and were involved with numerous charitable and community organizations. Anne and Alan were avid travelers and were very active in YPO/CEO, through which they made lasting friendships worldwide. They were married a beautiful sixty-five years.
After making their second home in Dana Point, California, Anne immersed herself in local art and cultural organizations, particularly in the Laguna Festival of Arts and the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Anne never missed an opportunity to attend a new musical production or local art showcase. She was an enthusiastic member of Angels of the Arts and her book club, where she made many close friends.
Spending time with her children and grandchildren was unquestionably Anne’s top priority. She would drop everything to support her family on a moment’s notice. Holidays with Anne were a highlight, and her family recipes will live on for generations.
