He started his career at UCLA directly after graduating in the Business Office. In 1969 he moved to Irvine to join the UCI campus, where he retired as an Executive Director in 1995, a job he thoroughly enjoyed.
He is survived by his wife, Neva Kaufman, son, Jeremy A. Kaufman (Lydia), granddaughter, Sofia Kaufman, along with many other loving family and friends.
He was a kind, gentle and loving man who will be greatly missed by all.
