Arthur was born on August 23, 1939. He graduated from Huntington Beach High School in 1957 and soon after married the love of his life, Brenda Critton, on July 25, 1957. Together they shared 67 years of faithful marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion to God.
Arthur worked as a contractor for many years, known for his strong work ethic, skill, and integrity. After retiring, he devoted much of his time to serving others, volunteering at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. His deep faith led him to be ordained into ministry in 2003, a calling he carried with humility and dedication.
He found great joy in fi shing, spending time with his church family, and being surrounded by those he loved most. Arthur was a steady and faithful man, someone who quietly lived out his beliefs and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Arthur is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Coopman; his children, Bill, Dave, and Bernadine; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. His legacy of faith and love lives on through each of them.
While we grieve his passing, we do not grieve without hope. As it is written in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.” We take comfort in knowing Arthur is now in the presence of his Savior, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Arthur will be deeply missed and forever remembered. His life was a testament to God’s faithfulness, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A Graveside Service will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625, US, on May 16, 2026, from 11:00 am
