When we had to do school through zoom, Blaine wasn’t really a fan of it. He’d rarely show his face in group zooms. But one morning we had bring your pet on zoom for the morning, and I remember Blaine being so happy and smiley and  excited to have pets with him.  You could see how animals brought him pure joy, and it was a sweet moment that I’ll forever remember about that time. 

When we got to go back to in person learning I learned so much about him and saw a constant smile on his face (once those masks were aloud to come off). Blaine was helpful to others, hard working, and just an all around great kid. I feel blessed to have been his teacher for 1st and 2nd grade. 

This world is definitely less bright without his smile. 

My memory is one that always makes me smile.  Blaine was there when I was visiting Robyn’s and Scott’s home and wanted to play cards.  Blake was there too and joined us.  He was so bright and funny we had a lot of laughs  due to his fine personality and loving ways.    I know he is brightening up Heaven.
