Bridget Ellen Price

She was born September 24, 1929 delivered by her father, Dr. Richard Flynn, at home in Calabogie, Ontario, Canada. She attended college at the University of Toronto with her dear sister, Mamie and then graduated from the Henry Ford School of Nursing. She journeyed from Michigan to California with her nursing school classmates and forever friends: Jo, Dorothy, Jeannie and Sallie. She was working at St John’s hospital in Santa Monica when she met the love of her life, our father Arthur Victor Price. He passed away after only nine years together and she raised their eight children: Bridget, Jenny, Judy, Richard, Michael, Peggy, Sheila and Elizabeth. Our mother dedicated her professional life to serving others, working as a nurse and teacher but will be remembered most as our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her eight children, fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, March 3rd, at Pacific View Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
