Carol Sandrene Branham

Carol Ann Sandrene Braham was a generous, fun-loving, independent, and caring person. She was the matriarch and mentor of our family. She passed away of natural causes on July 23, 2019. Born December 19, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to John L. and Anna Mae Sandrene (Feciuch). Carol graduated from Akron Garfield High School in 1960. She became a radiologist technician and moved to Columbus, Ohio to work at Grant Hospital. In 1963, she moved to Santa Barbara, CA and later to Santa Monica. In 1966, she was employed as a radiologist technician at White Memorial Hospital and later became supervisor of radiology at Cedar of Lebanon Hospital. In 1967, she met her future husband, Ronald W. Branham. Carol and Ron worked together as independent sales and distributors for Saladmaster. They created the House of the Branham and received recognition from Saladmaster as regional sales Director and the 7-Star Gold Awards recipients. In 1999, Carol was recognized as a grand master dealer. Upon retirement, she became an active member of the Huntington Beach Photography Club, Soroptimist Club, Lunch Bunch, and in 2019 served as President of the Seacliff Estate HOA. Carol traveled the U.S. and many different countries over her life, truly a world traveler. Carol will be sadly missed by: brother, John L. Sandrene and wife, Josie; of Villa Rica, Georgia; niece, Melissa E. Hullender and husband Gene; nephew, Tony Sandrene and his wife, Amy, and children Clara and Serena; Linda M. Crosser, sister and husband, Dennis, of Hokes Bluff, Alabama; niece, Mollie Crosser and son, Jacob; niece, Nina Rich and husband, Jason; great nephews and niece Alec, Carrie and husband, Garrett, Chandler, and great-great nephew Camden; Aunt Viola Sandrene, cousin Mike and Kim Sandrene, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Beverly Boone Stokes (Bill deceased), Akron, Ohio; Marvin Book and wife Gail, Medina, OH; cousins Frank, Pete (deceased), Penny, Amanda Sandrene, Granada Hills, CA; and Peter and wife, Eunice Sandrene, Virginia.
