Carole Sweet

Carole Gail Sweet, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 80. She was born on January 30, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Queens. Carole married her beloved husband James Perry Sweet, and they eventually moved to California to raise a family with their three sons, Larry, Brian, and Matthew.

Carole was a dedicated wife and mother who loved to travel, read, shop, play cards, complete crosswords puzzles, and watch the latest movies. During her loving marriage to James, they created many wonderful memories together before his untimely death. At the age of 50, Carole became an independent woman that devoted her life to seeing her sons through college, eventually marry, and raise children of their own. She was blessed with six grandchildren that she showered with unconditional love and affection.

In 2020, Carole was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia that she battled with courage and determination. Her family and friends remained by her side until her final moments, and her absence will forever be felt by her loved ones.

A Memorial Service was held at 11am PT on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar shortly followed by a celebration of her incredible life.
