Cheryl Marie Robertson

Cheryl Marie Robertson (Superka) was born on March 6, 1947 in Hagerstown, Maryland. Cheryl passed from a bravely fought battle with PSP on January 03, 2026. She was in hospice care at her apartment in Crown Cove, Corona Del Mar, CA.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father Charles Superka, her mother Jane Superka and her loving husband of 57 years, Alistair Robertson who passed at age 88 from complications of Alzheimer’s on May 26, 2025.

Cheryl is survived by her daughters; Eileen Virga (husband Robert) and Kimberly Moreland (husband Dave), grandchildren; Hannah Moreland, Ashley Hummel (husband Cooper), Mason Moreland and Natalie Virga, great-granddaughter; Lyla Hummel, and her sister; Jean Weitzel (and family).

Cheryl and Al lived in Huntington Beach, CA in their family home for 50 years and were active members of the tennis community especially Lindborg Racquet Club and The Huntington Club (originally Seacliff)

A Catholic Mass Funeral service for Cheryl will be held at 10:00am on Friday, January 30th, 2026 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 51 Marketplace, Irvine, CA 92602. All are welcome to attend.
