Christina Luby Fiori, 49, of Newport Coast, California, passed away on September 12, 2012.
She was born in Anaheim, California, to Sandra June Manning and the late Terrance Lee McCartney on December 18, 1962. Christina was raised in Newport Beach, California. It was here that she first developed her love of the beach and surf. After graduating from the University of Southern California, Christina met and married Marco Fiori. They lived in Connecticut, and later moved to France where they raised their two children Umberto Maximilian and Alexandra Francesca.
Christina and Alexandra returned to Newport Coast in 2007. In the fall of 2009, Christina met William Wittwer and the two wed on August 21, 2010.
Christina was known by all as a passionate lover of life, chef and hostess. She enjoyed nothing more than gathering her friends and family for beautiful cocktail and dinner parties. She had exquisite interior design sense, which was reflected in her elegantly decorated homes. Over her years of traveling, Christina made countless friends who are grateful to have experienced her contagious energetic spirit and zest for life.
Christina is survived by her husband William Wittwer, her son Umberto Maximilian Fiori, her daughter Alexandra Francesca Fiori, her step-daughter Kaitlin Wittwer, her mother Sandra Manning, her father Roger Luby and his wife Pamela Luby, her sister Joleen Hart, her sister Janelle Hart and her children; Sierra Swenson and Geo Hart, her great nieces Joleen Clark Poets and Lavetta Clark Poets, her brother Kenneth Charles McCartney and his wife Jane McCartney and their children; Alana McCartney, Marco McCartney, Miles McCartney, and her friends locally and abroad. She is preceded in death by her father Terrance McCartney, her grandparents Lee Freeman and Mary Freeman, her grandparents Charles Manning and Lavetta Manning, and her Aunt Sherri Calhoun.
