After graduating from Ohio University, Clyde joined the US Marine Corp and retired as a colonel after 27 years. He was a Naval Aviator who flew missions in the Pacific arena during WWII and in the Korean War.
Survivors are his sons Michael Alan (Dolores) Davis and Steven Scott (Tippy) Davis, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 63 years, Eleanor Schulz Davis.
