Colleen Ann Jeffreys of Corona Del Mar, California was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in Newport Beach, California at the age of 91.
Colleen was born on December 19, 1931 to parents, Edwin and Mary Dougherty and brother Jack Dougherty. She grew up in Santa Monica, California and attended UCLA where she met her husband, John Jeffreys. They had two children John and Mary Jane. Colleen graduated from USC in 1977 and had a career in telecommunications. She retired in Newport Beach and enjoyed gardening and volunteering.
Colleen is survived by her daughter Mary Jane Jeffreys Protzko (John), grandson Tyler John Protzko (Donna), granddaughter Else Colleen Protzko, and great granddaughter Delaney Anne Protzko. Colleen is preceded in death by her son, John Jeffreys Jr.
A celebration of life will be held on January 6, 2024.
