It was my honor to attend the services for Dr. Furnas and I was so pleased to be able to finally meet Dr. Heather Furnas, her husband and children, as well as say hello to Mary Lou again.  I could have stood in front of all of you and told "Dr. Furnas" stories for an hour and beyond but I know each of you have their own personal favorites that will keep him in your thoughts and minds forever.  His dedication to teaching and his patients have strongly influenced my career in Plastic Surgery and will continue to do so.  His presence on Earth was a gift to all of us and the world was a better place because of him.
