Dorothy May Kloeckner, 95, passed away peacefully at her home in Corona del Mar, California. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, Dorothy was a resident of Newport Beach since 1940, before it was “The O.C.”. She and her husband owned an herbal tea business, from which she retired in her later years. She was a member of St. Andrews Church in Newport Beach since 1955 and served as a deacon for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Church, 600 St. Andrews Rd., Newport Beach, CA 92663 on Monday, July 29th, at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in Dorothy’s name to Canine Companions for Independence, Southwest Regional Center, PO Box 4568, Oceanside, CA 92052-4568.
