Dorothy Salvati was Born to Peter and Anna Pavelek in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania on April 5th 1932. She was 100% Czechoslovakian. She was born in the family home and the fourth of five children. At a young age she suffered the passing of an older sister. After that she never took anything in life for granted. She loves animals and even had a milk cow as a pet. Her cow was so utterly devoted that it once jumped the fence to follow her when she left the house. Dorothy was an A+ student. When handsome Luigi Salvati, who was popular among the “other” girls asked for Dorothy’s help with schoolwork she reluctantly said “Yes!”. Luigi repeatedly would take Dorothy’s pig tailed hair and dip it in an ink well. It was love at first sight they were married September 22,1949. Two became one, became four, became thirteen. She loved supporting her sons and husband in all that was vital for a healthy family. She loved her family. She loved her friends. She loved her acquaintances and she loved their families. She loved everyone. She loved. She is Dorothy. Gift of God. She is love.
