Dorothy Marie Walkosz

She was born on April 3, 1925 in Chicago, IL to James and Tillie (Vesely) Yara. She married the love of her life (Richard Walkosz) on May 21, 1944. They raised five daughters, Susan, Barbara, Deborah, Mary and Catherine, and one son, Joseph. She dedicated her life to her husband and six children which gave her the greatest fulfillment of all.

Everywhere she went, people loved her! She was known for her patient, kind and compassionate spirit and positive attitude for life, always seen with a smile on her face, even when she was asleep. She saw the good in everything and gave praise constantly. She was truly the Fountain of Youth! She was very devoted to her Faith in God and Jesus Christ as her Savior.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. She is survived by her six children, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Our Sweet Mother went to sleep and woke up in Heaven!
