Dr. Gilbert A. Zuker

Born in November 16, 1933 Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada to Esther and Philip Zuker, Gilbert dedicated his life to the service of others. He graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and completed a general surgical residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. He went on to practice surgery for four decades, earning deep respect from colleagues and patients alike for his skill, integrity, compassion and patience.

Outside of medicine, Gilbert found great joy in his family and in the pursuits he loved. He enjoyed musical theater, poke reading, and traveling. He was a thoughtful conversationalist with a dry sense of humor, a devoted husband, and proud grandfather and great- grandfather. His steady presence, wisdom and quiet kindness will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Elaine Zuker, his daughters Amy Zuker, Shari Woolbert and Tara Zuker, seven grandchildren, one great- granddaughter and brother Ronald Zuker.

A graveside service will be held at Pacific View Memorial Park, located at 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625, United States. The service is scheduled for February 25, 2026, from 10:00 am
