Fern J. Peterson

Fern was born on July 2, 1919 to Sennett Ruben Westcott and Mandy Keller Westcott in Minneapolis, MN. After graduation from West High School in Minneapolis she worked as an office manager and bookkeeper. Fern moved to California in 1965 where she met Wesley Peterson and they were married in 1968. Fern was predeceased by her husband, Wesley in 1998, great granddaughter Keona in 2000, and Warren and Douglas (both son-in-laws) in 2021. She is survived by two daughters, Joanne and Judy, stepson Broox (Sandy), and two step-daughters, Leslie and Marla. She had five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren.

Fern was very lucky to have a loving caregiver, Christina, with her for the last 11 years and her kitty Tiger Belly. She loved spending time with her family and still attended regular Eastern Star meetings, her widows lunch club and Canasta group gatherings.

We will miss her dearly. There will be a graveside service at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
