Frank Novak 92, a long-time resident of Lake Forest, passed away on July 3rd, 2021. Frank, born on March 3rd, 1929, in Chelsea, MA to Rebecca and Phil Novak was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Frank, also known as “Frankie” met Charlotte, the love of his life and eloped at 18 years old. They then had two sons, Richard and Bruce and later decided to head out West and set roots down in Orange County. Frank loved to make jokes and play pool with his buddies at the clubhouse. Frank is also a proud member of Gamblers Anonymous (GA), where he would be celebrating his 24th“birthday” in November. He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte, sons Richard Novak (Nancy) and Bruce Novak (Gina), grandchildren Jesse, Jennifer Craib (Kevin), Jacqueline, great-grandchildren Ellie, Emma, and Owen Craib, his sister Estelle Spector (Spec), Murray (Dotty), and Hank (Barbara). He will be greatly missed.
