with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He then worked for British company ICI in Taipei for 25+ years before his retirement in 1975.
He was married in 1958. In 1976, he and his family immigrated to New York City. In 2010, they moved to Huntington Beach, California.
Mr. Young’s Japanese education made him straightforward, loyal and honest. The British firm environment influenced him to become a British
gentleman. Due to his diligence in all things he pursued, he mastered multi-languages, a number of sports and garnered a vast knowledge. His
favorites were Taichi, golf, bonsai, flowers and music.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife Ling-Yeng Young, son Albert with wife Huoy-Ru, daughters Shirley with husband Randy and Gloria with husband Ken, as well as five grandchildren: Audrey, Emma, Elisa, Mitchell and Leslie.
