Georgeann Adams

She met her future husband Keith Adams at North High in Phoenix, Arizona and completed her education at Arizona State University with a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She was a devoted grade school teacher in the Scottsdale School District for 35 years, which included 25 years in Special Education. She also co-developed and ran the Summer Learning Clinic. She was treasured by her students and parents.

In retirement Georgeann’s primary residence with her husband was in Sedona, Arizona where she became an accomplished golfer. She loved golfing and socializing with her golf groups in Arizona and California. She was also passionate about gardening and celebrating with family.

Georgeann was born to Alice Virginia Hinley and Caleb Massey Shearer in 1938. She is survived by her husband Keith Adams, daughter Victoria Adams-Cuccia and two sisters Dabney Buckley and Susie McGinn. Georgeann thanks all of the health care providers that empowered her during her fight with lung cancer.

All will miss her sweet sparkle.

In the spring of 2023 there will be a Celebration of Life for Georgie in Sedona, Arizona.
