Harvey E. Miller

Harvey was born October 16, 1924 in Bloomington, Illinois. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1942. He saw action in the U.S. Marine Corps during WW2.

He moved to Los Angeles, California after the war, where he married Lois Eleanor Prescott and they had two daughters, Sheryl Ann and Robin Kay Miller. The family lived in Long Beach, California where Harvey entered the real estate business. In 1958 he founded the first of what became 7 retirement hotels.

He remarried Linda Diane in 1983, they moved to Corona Del Mar, California for 15 years then to Woodbridge, Irvine, California and presently in Laguna Woods, California.

Harvey spent many years traveling all over the world with his wife Linda and had been enjoying an active life with his grandkids and great grandkids.

He was active in lawn bowling, bocci, shuffle board, bicycling, swimming and rollerblading.

He enjoyed living the retirement life at Laguna Woods with his lovely wife Linda. Harvey is survived by his wife of 30 years Linda Miller, his sister, 2 daughters, 1 son and step-daughter and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
