Helen Elizabeth Morse passed away at the age of 98 in Laguna Niguel, CA, on August 15, 2026. She was born on December 12, 1927, in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Southern California with her parents in 1929. She grew up in the Los Angeles area, eventually settling in Costa Mesa (1967) with her husband and children, and enjoyed the ocean scenery of the area. She spent her final years at Golden Breeze Manor (assisted living) in Laguna Niguel. The staff of the Manor are to be commended for their caring professionalism and compassion that they provided to her.
Helen is preceded in passing by her parents, Walter and Helen Harrison, her first husband, Howard R. Collins (1951) and her second husband, Thomas E. Morse (2016). She is survived by her daughter Colleen P. Dabreu (Mission Viejo), her sons Thomas H. Morse (Anchorage, AK) and Edward J.Morse (Santa Maria), her grandchildren (Nicole and Stacey), great- grandchildren (Alison and Will), and great-great grand-children (Kaia and Haven), all in New Jersey.
