She married Richard Bolenbaugh and had one daughter, Carmen Darlene Hinshaw.
Jean moved to Long Beach, California in 1944 with her daughter and lived with her parents Clifford and Edna Denny.
Jean became a riviter on the World War II warplanes at Douglass Aircraft in Long Beach, California.
After the war, Jean went to work in the banking industry. During that time she meet Fred Woodruff and later married him. Shortly after that they moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
In Phoenix, she worked at Valley National Bank for several years until her retirement in 1975.
She then moved back to Long Beach, California to care for her elderly mother, Edna.
After her mother passed away in 1982, Jean moved to Pomona to be closer to her daughter Carmen and grandchildren.
In 1985, she followed her daughter down to Orange County. In the last three years she lived with Carmen in her house in Newport Beach, California.
Jean passed away the evening of June 17th, 2016. She passed peaceful in her sleep surrounded by family. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Darlene Hinshaw; grandchildren, Tamera Jean Ray (Warren), Steven Loyal Ingersoll (Kathleen), Richard Edward Ingersoll (Robyn), and Sherry Lynn Reynoso (Carlos); great-grandchildren, Sheryl Darlene Lowe, Sherrie Lee Wilcox, Wende Darlene Haynes (Matthew), Richard Loyal Ingersoll, Mark Anthony Reynoso, Aaron Michael Reynoso, and Jonathan Andrew Reynoso; great-great grandchildren, Caleb Underwood, Corban Underwood, Steven Underwood, Kelsea Laffin, Rusty Laffin, Hunter Laffin, Claire Laffin, Maddox Haynes, Mason Haynes, Maverick Haynes, and Troy Ingersoll; nephew, Steven Denny (Cyndi); and niece, Kathryn Romo (Arthur). She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Wallace Denny and Edna Hazel (Weaver) Denny; her brothers, Deverel Denny and Clifford Denny; and her sisters, Thelma Eversole and Arlene Higginbottom.
