

She was born July 1, 1929, in Harlan, Iowa, and had lived here since 1956.
Mrs. McKenzie was a social worker at Senior Companions and retired from Wonder Bread. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge and Beacon Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Larry Wittrup (Linda) of Sacramento, Calif., Rodney McKenzie (Maria) of Cheyenne and Gary McConnell (Jennifer) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; three daughters, LaDonna Higginbotham (Terry) of Cheyenne, Linda Banks (Wayne) of Vivian, La., and Sandy Black (Tony) of Cheyenne; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McKenzie was preceded in death by a son, LeRoy Wittrup; a brother, Donald McConnell; a sister, Beulah Moore; and her parents, Arthur and Lois McConnell.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Rugged Cross Chapel in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. A reception will be held at the Moose Lodge following the graveside service.
Viewing will take place at the Rugged Cross Chapel on Thursday before the service.
