Joe was one of the first Principals to hire me as his V.P.  Midway City School was a great place with Joe in charge.  Very strong in sports and staff friendships, and Joe was insistent on doing the best for both staff and students.  This great golfer will be missed by many.

I met mr. Costa when I was a kid, I got to know him personally while living and working at sea cliff country club. Joe senior and my Dad used to play golf together in tournaments at sea cliff. 

Mr. Costa never gave me any advice verbally, I learned by watching him.  He was somebody you looked up to just by the way he carried himself. He was Zen.
