He was a strong, brave, intelligent heart warrior who had a tremendous impact on anyone who got to know him or learned of him. Jonah had many surgeries throughout his life and approacherd everyone obstacle with a smile. He often prayed to Jesus, saying “Jesus take care of me.” We’ll never be able to comprehend what life was like to be Jonah. He constantly impressed us with with his strength and ability to push on no matter had dim the day looked.
Jonah enjoyed singing, playing music, and hanging out with his brother Malachi. Although eating (feeding) was a struggle for him boy did he love to eat and try new foods. Some of his favorite things to eat were sushi, in-n-out, and all things vanilla (he didn’t like chocolate). Jonah was well beyond his years in sophistication and for a 3-year-old many felt his wisdom surpassed many adults. At a young age, he understood the true meaning of life. He valued his family, God's creations, and life here on earth. Jonah had such a love for humanity and only saw the good in everyone, he even liked the bad guys, like Darth Vadar.
We consider ourselves blessed to have the opportunity to get to know someone as inspirational as Jonah. He had a tremendous personality that was infectious and would leave a lasting impression. Many people after meeting him would say they felt “lucky” and honored to have made his acquaintance. His personality was bigger than the entire world, always cheerful and compassionate to others, often asking Mommy and Daddy if they wanted a massage or telling them how much he loved them.
