Joe was warm, elegant, classy, a great conversation, a good listener, and had a contagious passion for life. I cherish the many enjoyable moments with him at Lago, on S/V Valiente, at his home, and even more enjoyable moments sailing in Mexico. I will always remember him with a heartfelt smile and wish for all who loved him to heal quickly from this sad loss, and find the passion for life he would want all of us to have. Joe will always be on my list of people that I look forward to meeting again one day!

To the Kozlowski Family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss this is a very difficult time. But the love of others and especially from our God we can endure 1 John 4:8 says that “God is love”, so he will carry us in this difficult time.

Joe, you were totally one of a kind in my book. We have had so much fun together for the last 32 years - golfing, traveling, party-times together, and I have always considered you as a very special friend in my world of friends. There will be no one to ever replace you, and my memories of our times together will last forever in my mind. I will miss you so much. You were like a brother to me. May you rest in peace.

I love you very much,
